about
Book Kennison (of Zobot) (Chicago, IL, USA):
I'm a music producer / composer / songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. Making pop music with my sister Zoë has been a lifelong pursuit. Now that we’re in our 30s, we’re starting to figure it out.
On my own I compose music for theatrical contexts, especially circus, which is my previous on-stage career. There aren’t many composers focusing on contemporary circus, and it’s a niche I’m very happy to fill. This fall, along with preeminent circus composer Peter Bufano, I’m composing a full-length score for a new show called The Stars Above, by Hideaway Circus. The show will tour New England and New York.
As a producer near the beginning of my career I’m eager to work with artists on new music or remixes, like this project with Shannon. My band Zobot just released an EP of pop gems, ZB EP, mastered by Jamie.
